How Donald Duke's Daughter Married DJ Caise In Style
The wedding between
Xerona Lolia Duke and Anthonio Adereinola Phillips was rounded off on April 24,
2018 in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial
capital with a solemnization and a grand reception.
Proceedings for the
day began with a church ceremony at the Redeemed Christian Church of God
(RCCG), Olive Tree Parish, Banana Isand.
Admidst lively hymns,
prayers and praises and an admonition by the Preacher for the couple to love,
respect and seek God always, they said “I do” and exchanged rings.
The Church ceremony was
attended by such personalities as VP Prof Yemi Osinbajo & wife, First Lady
of Lagos, Mrs Bolanle Ambode, Gov. Udom Emmanuel, Mr Femi Otedola, Chief Ernest
Shonekan & wife and Dr Sam Egwu and wife.
Later, the wedding
train moved to the Balmoral Convention Centre, located in the Federal Palace
Hotel where a wonderful reception unfolded.
The event was planned
by one of the leading Event Management companies, @elizabethR and the head of
the outfit, Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo was on hand to personally ensure that the
arrangements were perfect.
Little wonder that the
décor was heavenly and colourful. The ceremony which had Yinka Akinkugbe as
Master of Ceremonies saw @akiinshuga of Shuga Band thrilling guests while
@bonixdrinks took charge of cocktails and @ksquaresecurity ensured that guests
were fully protected.
Chairman of the
occasion was UBA Chairman,Tony Elumelu who in his short speech advised the
couple to communicate all the time and pray together.
The couple performed
their first official assignment in the midst of the jollity by cutting their
lovely cream cake, this was officiated by Mrs. Egwu who also showered Xerona
and Derin with prayers after asking everyone to spell LOVE.
While Xerona and dad,
danced to the wonderful Temptaion’s song, My Girl, Derin and his mother,
grooved to Prince Nico Mbarga’s classic, Sweet Mother. It was all so emotional.
In a moving speech,
the groom thanked the Duke family for allowing him to marry their daughter and
promised to love and cherish till the end of his life.
